Tabasco comes to the newt Carlos Castillo, with the satisfaction of having served in the American in Puerto Rico.

The newt Tabasco Carlos Castillo Rojas, arrived Thursday to land Tabasco, after having made an outstanding performance in the Central American and Caribbean Championships in the discipline of swimming, held from June 27 to July 2 this year in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

The director of the Institute of Youth and Sport of Tabasco (INJUDET), MSc. Ruiz Franco Melchi, welcomed him in his office and congratulated him on his great performance he had in the Pan American just swimming.

"It's an unforgettable experience that stick in your memory and will help you strengthen your skills for your future career" express the highest sports governing Tabasco.

Carlos Castillo, in the Kids category B (11 and 12), was part of the National Swimming Team comprised of 66 swimmers who represented our country in its category, which consisted of five swimmers, resulted in 3 medals (gold, silver and bronze).

In the medley relay test, the Mexican team composed of Carlos Castillo Tabasco and representatives of Jalisco, Mexico and Coahuila State, were awarded the gold medal, where the chocolate butterfly participated in swimming, leaving the team second of Puerto Rico and the third to the selection of Trinidad and Tobago.

In 200 meters butterfly, Castillo, took the podium for the silver medal, while the representative of Guatemala won the gold medal and third place went to a Puerto Rican.

The bronze medal was won in the free relay test, being first and second Puerto Rico Aruba.

The Tabasco newt said: "I feel very good, very proud to have brought the medals because it's a dream come true, for my effort, my parents, coaches and everyone who supported me."

Both Rojas and Carlos Castillo Paullette Spamer, totaled 6 medals for Mexico, as Paullette adjudge gold medals in 50 meter breaststroke, 400 meters in free Relay and 400 meters medley relay in the 15-16 years age category

It is noteworthy that Carlos Castillo Rojas, be prepared for the National Championship of the Mexican Swimming Long Course, which will take place in Guanajuato from 14 to 18 of this month, where will the Youth category A.
