The infrastructure of the Technological University of Tabasco (UT) continues to strengthen, after the governor Andrés Granier Melo opened here today the Language Centre (CIUT) of the institution, which has become one of the best options for higher education for young people of Tabasco.
Accompanied by the chancellor of the UT, Aguilar Sarai Barojas, the state governor cut the ribbon on its own center, because for seven years, taught college courses in the state headquarters of the National Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Services (Canaco -SERVYTUR).
Barojas Aguilar said that the new facility is intended to serve more students seeking a second language. He stressed that the CIUT is accredited as a testing center at the University of Cambridge by the British Council in Mexico and accredited by the French Embassy in our country.
First Secretaries of Economic Development, Mario de la Cruz Sarabia, and Health, Luis Felipe Graham Zapata, emphasized that the leadership is also accredited by the state Department of Education to translate legal documents to validate studies abroad.
He reported that currently there are courses in English and French, Japanese and resume the start, soon, with German and Italian. The director of CIUT, Bruno Ehuan Pino, reported that since its inception the center serves the general public and not just students at UT. He said that before having their own facilities, attending to children 12 and older, but now can reach children from seven years old.
He explained that the center operates Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday panels, a monthly fee of 750 pesos. He noted that teachers are graduates of the Center for Languages of the UJAT, with training and accreditation processes in their foreign language.
Ehuan Pino stated that the center has five classrooms, a computer lab and a lecture hall.
