Many people say they always lose, some say that "it becomes much room each time the game is" (Chico Che) the fact is that since 1975 there professional baseball in Tabasco, Tabasco have been players who have entered maybe not big leagues playing for tabasco but have come to play in our stadium called "Centennial Park on February 27" on the premises now Olmecs of Tabasco, but were originally Tabasco Cardinals in 1975, then from 1977 Plataneros 1987 became Ranchers and since 1990 are known as Olmecs, being with this name who managed the championship in 1993, previously the only winning season was in 1979 as Plataneros year that qualified for play-off, being eliminated by the Angels of Puebla .
Speaking as the Olmecs of Tabasco have a team that participated in postseason so often having great playoff series against Tigers, Yucatan, Monclova, Campeche and Hell that was the last in 2007.
