Professionals with high scientific and humanistic sense, able to propose and conduct programs that provide a better quality of life for older people, graduated from the Masters in Social Gerontology Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco (UJAT) conducted in coordination with the University of Barcelona, ​​Spain, as part of a General Cooperation Agreement signed in 2005.

During the ceremony certificates, held in the Hall of Juárez Rector of the Institute on 11 September, the rector Candita Victoria Gil Jimenez confirmed the strong commitment of this University to train human resources and high-level multidisciplinary teams with the skills to address problems that affect the elderly population and present viable alternatives for their full social integration.

Accompanied by the State Health Secretary Luis Felipe Graham Zapata, who came on behalf of Governor Andres Granier Melo, the rector was a recognition of the efforts of the 22 graduates of the first generation of the Masters in Social Gerontology, who along their clinical practice studies conducted in different venues, including the Centre for Primary Health Care and the House of à tree, as well as the Home for the Elderly, in the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, and health centers in Barcelona, ​​Spain .

In the presence of the Honorable President of the Governing Board, Agustin Centurion Hidalgo, and secretary of the Academic Services UJAT, Maria Isabel Zapata Vasquez, Ms..
